The aim of the "Migrant Journey" analysis is to provide evidence on the behaviour of migrants entering the UK immigration system in the major non-visit visa routes, and on the common pathways through the immigration system that result in settlement.The report presents the initial results of this analysis, based on the behaviour of migrants granted leave to enter the UK in 2004 and those granted settlement in 2009.
