Education for refugee and asylum seeking children in OECD countries
P Bourgonje, Education Action, 2010
This report addresses issues that surround migrant education, given that it is now high on the policy agenda in many OECD (Organisation for economic co-operation and development) countries. It aims to explore what educational opportunities are available for refugee and asylum-seeking children, and what policies and actions are being undertaken by national and regional governments in this respect. The report highlights a number of case studies from Australia, Spain, Sweden and the UK. It concludes with a series of recommendations on how to achieve educational inclusion for all children.
